Maybe wash and rise it with vinegar

I wash mine in warm water, seems to do the job most of the time

After a few washes should be fine and hang out to dry in the sun so they crisp up

After a couple times of washing they should roughen up

Wash as normal with detergent then wash again this time put a few tablespoons of bi carb in the rinse water hopefully that helps you.

Maybe check the type of washing powder?

Wash them 2-3 times in a row and put in the dryer if you have one.
