  • I would start with the place you get your sewing supplies from, ask there, they might have ideas and might even do them themselves

  • In Craftsy there are a lot of courses. For most of them you have to pay, but some courses are free. Like these ones: http://www.craftsy.com/classes/sewing/free
And check YouTube indeed. You can find so much good stuff!

  • I also want to do this. I have a machine that I’ve hardly used!

  • Just curious to know if you found any good ones!

  • There are so many online. Simply type into Google the pattern you are looking for IE boys shorts tutorial and you would be surprised how many things you will find. You don’t necessarily need to put boy as a lot of things like shorts and tees are unisex.

  • YouTube will be the best place to search for tutorials. And they are free. You’ll need to look through a few channels until you find one that you really like, then just follow and watch the rest of their videos.

  • Check out youtube! They have some great stuff!

  • google for free or go to 2nd hand shops and they are cheap- not free but you will find a lot of cool retro patterns.

  • There are literally hundreds of ideas on the web – a quick Google search will give you some great sites to look through. You could always try your local op shops for patterns and cheap sewing books too. Check out your library, Spotlight and Lincraft stores as well.

  • Have you tried youTube? or lincraft offer some free tutorials too.

  • I was beaten to it but yeah i agree youtube is great for anything you need to make

  • Do an Internet search, should be lots on there,

  • You tube would be the first place I would go to. You can find tutorials on basically anything. What did we do before the internet?

  • I got some inspiration from you tube recently. really good

  • Have a look on pinterest

  • Thanks ladues I will have a look

  • I find lots of good ones on pinterest

  • Have you had a look at YouTube? There would be heaps of tutorials on there.

  • I’m a sewer, I love cheap pattern’s and material from op. shops like St Vincent de paul and Salvation Army Stores and Church Op Shops. I made my kids Dungaree’s in denim and colourful canvas and they wore these to death. See Busy Boys Sewing Tutorials.

  • I’ve used patterns from http://www.sewcanshe.com and this one for zippers, tightening skirts & making baby clothes and patterns – http://www.allfreesewing.com/Basics-and-Tutorials
    Hope that helps.
