Maybe ask the staff of the uniform shop for the contact details of the supplier and ask if they can provide a bigger size.

I agree that this is the school’s problem. If they dictate certain dress code (and have a store no doubt that sells those items at profit) then it is up to them to have it in all sizes for all kids, or else make exceptions. Perhaps they will let her wear whatever, if they can’t provide a supply of what you need. I don’t think you should have to go to dressmakers etc. to get tailor made stuff. The school should relax its rules or else supply you with the items at the same price as everyone else.

I hope you were able to find a solution. My top advice would be to ask the school. You will not be the only person who would be looking for custom uniform sizes (larger, taller, shorter or smaller). They will usually have an option or someone that can help you right away!

Have you spoken to the school regarding other options? As like can they outsource them. They should be able to help, as it is their role to make sure your GD has a uniform.

Not meaning to be rude but have you considered getting your grand daughter to lose weight? It’s not good if she’s not fitting into the biggest size

Could you get in touch directly with the supplier and maybe see what they could do?

Try contacting the schools p&c they will give you the uniform companies details or they may be able to order you a larger size than normally stock.They will then be aware fofuture years .Your granddaughter will then feel like everyone else Good luck finding what you need

Like another has said I would definitely be going back to the school & the uniform supplier, surely they would have options.

Is the uniform shop able to make you a custom order? They’ll have access to all of the correct material, buttons, logos etc too. Sometimes there is also another school that uses the same material as another school. They may have something else available. Best wishes.

Try asking at a drycleaner’s – they often have a tailor who can do alterations, and they should be able to do a full uniform too.

If you are willing to travel to Cabramatta they have a few tailors there that can do them for you!
