  • What about a rainbow colour theme? I’ve seen lots of rainbow cakes and favours that look great.

  • Under the sea/ Mermaid,
    Alice in wonderland,
    owls,

  • rainbow
    hawaaiin
    frozen
    fairies
    mermaids
    dress up
    magic

  • It is good you are being creative for your daughter. You can create games such as pass the parcel , pin the tail on the donkey , dressups ??

  • Is your daughter into anything particular ie; dancing, particular kids show, books? What about fairies, rainbows etc? Also, when was your daughter born? Can you do a theme around that ie; if she was born in the warmer months do something summery.
It’s tough trying to think of something new. Good luck.

  • Disney theme? So u can borrow from princesses, tv shows etc

  • A Rainbow theme is nice and bright and relatively easy.

  • Maybe a theme could be fairies.I loved fairies.

  • My first daughter’s birthday party theme was Winnie the Pooh.

  • Thanks for all your answers such great ideas!!! The baby superhero idea sounds so cool!!!

  • maybe something out of the box? A baby superhero party? wonderwoman, catwoman, batgirl etc

  • what about lady bugs, the cake would be easy to make and decorate. and red and black could be the colour theme.

  • Rainbow, animal theme.

  • For a little girls first we went Bright colours and for something different filled balloons with confetti strung to clothes line, when I popped them and the confetti floated down she absolutely loved it. For safety she did not pop or hold the balloons.

  • Book theme that’s a different one thanks!!

  • Let your imagination run wild and have fun planning a party – another reason I like the book theme idea is there can be lovely little treats for treat bags- little books/soft toys – and they are great for encouraging reading down the track and imaginative play.

  • I like the idea of rainbows, ladybugs, rainbow spots, butterflies Minnie Mouse, twinkle twinkle little star, bunnies or lollypops :)

  • Characters from books – they make good themes and there are always plenty of props that you can make or purchase.

  • Thank you ladies some great idea I appreciate it!!xx

  • I have seen some absolutely beautiful rainbow themed parties. Colourful and simple and you can use fruit to make a rainbow fruit platter. There are a couple of previous questions here on MoMs re rainbow parties that have some great ideas, and Pinterest is full of them :)
