Nature walk – maybe with a lists of things to collect..feathers, gum nuts,..spying insects. Duck feeding, picnic.

Breakfast in bed. Take silly photo’s of each other. Let daughter paint daddy’s face, paint each others toe nails!

A pancake breakfast! Everyone loves pancakes. You can make your own and add all sorts of toppings. Or you could do McDonalds for breakfast, if there’s one nearby, great play centre for the kids

Picnic rug, park, feed the ducks/cockatoo/birds, eat some snacks, pack a ball. Sandpits are fun if you don’t mind the mess. Nature walk – get a bug catcher and catch some (safe) insects, a walk in the pram, milkshake at a shopping centre/café, painting outside or playdough

Outdoor outings are nice at this age. Learning about being outside. Picking up things – a nature walk.

For an 18 months old child cuddles and play are the most important and most enjoyable things to do. I don’t think it matters where, it could be even at home on the settee.

If the weather is nice, a park, playing and exploring nature. It’s a great sensory activity they can connect with.

A little lunch date at a cafe.
