Teach yourself to knit or crochet. Heaps of online tutorials and there is always someone giving away or selling yarn/wool fairly cheaply on the buy, sell, swap pages. Make a scarf, beanies, gloves etc!

Have you ever watched Play School? They have a useful box full of bits and bobs that they create lots of stuff with. I’ve recreated this box and my kids loved it

I’ve been making a baby book for my little one. It’s been fun looking back at and printing photos of her to put in her special memory book.

I’ve recently got into Diamond Painting – very similar to cross stitch but using beads/crystals – sort of like painting by numbers but sticking beads on the canvas instead! Not many kits available locally as yet, but plenty on online and can be purchased quite cheaply too!
