We had one made when we moved in here 16 years ago. Best Idea I ever had. I had the seat hinged so I could use the space under for storage. We keep our Christmas decorations in it as well as the winter throw blankets. I had Spotlight make me a thick foam window cushion in the shape of the window-seat and two roll pillows. I’d go with a local carpenter.

Maybe check your local paper for a carpenter. Sounds like a lovely idea

i’d contact a local builder. the “little bloke” usually puts more care into their work as they rely on their reputation and dont get by on a brand name
