I absolutely love entering competitions, but I can genuinely count on my fingers the handful of names I seem to see winning competition after competition on Instagram , At what point do you start wondering whether it’s simply an extraordinary run of good luck or whether there’s potentially more to it, I understand that some people really are just incredibly lucky. But when you repeatedly see the same people coming out on top, it’s hard not to question things.

For those of us who spend time entering, following the rules, engaging and getting our hopes up for that one win, it can become pretty disheartening when it feels like the same people are always getting the prizes.

Is it genuinely just luck? Are some people really that fortunate? Or is it time for competition organisers to be a little more transparent about how winners are selected? Is it greedy to keep entering things when you’ve won them before. There’s a lady who’s won 3 e bikes in 3 months !
