Hello!

My Son’s first tooth came out at 7 months and I have been told that some babies get their first incisor at 4 months. Is that true?

  • Yes that is possible !

  • Hi yes it’s true. Happened to my 3. I think my youngest was even a tab bit earlier

  • My cousin was born with 2 teeth!

  • Yes and a friend of mine was born with a tooth

  • Both my kids cut their lower teeth at 4mths yet their kids did not until 6 months onwards so everyone is different no need to worry

  • Everyone is different.
My eldest was walking before she got her first tooth. Her first tooth came at about 14mths. People drove me crazy telling me i needed to get her checked and that something must be wrong, etc….NOTHING was wrong….at 14mths she got her first tooth and days later the 2nd and then within 3 months she had a mouthful of teeth.

  • My daughter got her first tooth at 6 weeks. The only reason I knew is because she bit me whilst feeding. Every child is different and there doesn’t seem to be a set time for getting teeth.

  • My friends daughter cut her 1st tooth at 4 months and my son cut his 1st tooth at 41/2 months

  • Yep it’s true. My 1st born was 4 weeks premi and had 2 teeth at 4 weeks old. He had ALL of his teeth including 2 year old molers just after his 1st birthday. My 2nd son had 2 teeth at 4 months old and had all
    His teeth by 13 months.

  • Yes, it can vary a lot. My first son had 2 teeth just after 4 months (and was teething on an international flight 😮 )
My daughter was later (around 6 months) and my second son also around 6 months.

  • I wouldn’t stress, I have heard of babies cutting teeth at two months! Both my girls got their first tooth at 6 months.

  • My eldest cut her 2 bottom teeth at 4 months and had 12 teeth by her first birthday. Every child is different.

  • Yep absolutely! All babies are different and some just get teeth earlier.

  • Yes it is true! One of mine had theirs around then. I have heard some are even born with some!

  • Yes its true. My 1st son was 4 weeks premi and had 2 teeth on his corrected due date, he was meant to be born with teeth :-/. He had all of his teeth including his 2 year old molers by his 1st birthday. My 2nd son was born only 1 week early and he had 2 teeth at 8 weeks old. He also had his 2 year old molers early at approx 13 months. They say if theyre early tetthers that they’ll be late walkers. 1st son walked at 15 months, 2nd son at 13 months.

  • I know my cousin’a baby got his 1st tooth before he was 6 months old. Some have all their baby teeth before they are 2 years old. The last ones are often called 2y.o. teeth

  • yes my oldest child was 3/12 months when she cried suddenly for maybe 10minutes one day and the the next morning she had 2 front bottom teeth by the time she was 6mths old she had 8 teeth

  • Most babies between 4-7mths. On extreme rare cases some babies can be even born with a tooth or 2! Usually by 3yrs old, they will have all their baby teeth. But remember all kids develop at different rates…this is a general guide.
