Hello!

My daughter has cradle cap pretty badly on her head and eyebrows, we have been using coconut oil to get it out but it isn’t helping as much as I thought it would and she is starting to loose her hair because of it. I was looking at using Moogoo scalp cream, have other mum’s used this and had results. As my partner has dermatitis in his hair as well so he would use it to. Also any reviews on their other products would be amazing thank you.

  • We found that their eczema cream/moisturiser worked really well on our little girl – it did eventually lose it’s effectiveness, but everything seems to.

  • yeah that was the advice given to me, wash and slowly and gentle scrape off the layers. only these easy to get rid of flakes otherwise you could cause bleeding.

  • Yes I used moogoo scalp cream on my baby – cleared it up. Nice natural product, kind to the environment, worth trying yourself I wasn’t in love with it but then didn’t have to use much of it to clear the cradle cap. Daughter is 2 now and I still have a nearly full tube.

  • Moogoo didn’t work on my baby’s head but hers was really bad :( in the end I saw a doc and she said just to keep washing her hair and softly scratching it

  • We honestly love it. I love the smell of the product it smells clean and fresh and not like chemicals. Works on my partners dermatitis too. We have just begun swapping all our skin products to their range.
We use the baby bath wash for Mr 3 and miss 16 weeks and it’s so great and gentle on their skin.

  • I know the Childrens’ Hosptial in Melbourne recommends it.

  • i didn’t use this product but i hope that it works for you

  • Update ladies. Our order came and omg is it amazing!
Cleared it up within 2 days and hasn’t come back.
She did have a lot of hair coming out with it.. But she still has short fuzzy hair on top which I’m assuming is new growth.

  • Following this discussion with interest & thinking I might try ordering some myself. Have heard lots of great things about it, and am not getting great results with the oil I am currently using. Our daughter’s cradle cap is only very mild, but I would still like to treat it to prevent it getting worse. And I would also like to find a product that doesn’t leave an oily residue in her hair (if such a thing exists)?!?!?!

  • I used Johnson and Johnson baby oil with aloe and vitamin e and my daughter never ever had cradle cap. It was great!!

  • It is good but I prefer the Jurlique baby products

  • We used moogoo and found it fantastic

  • Oh so reassuring. I have also ordered some other products through them so hopefully we love them.

  • I have not tried this product, but have tried other products in their range and love them, we were going to use this one for our son, but the olive oil was working great

  • I swear by MooGoo. Havent tried it for cradle cap, but used it for my daughters sensitive skin and excema and it worked wonders. Results quickly, no harsh chemicals. I even tried it myself and works for me too. I use their moisturiser, for my daughter i cant remember exactly what it was called, but the cream was thicker, white but absorbed easily. And it worked when literally nothing else did. Our next step was steroid creams but i was concerned about the chemicals on my girls skin long term. but another mum told me about MooGoo and it worked great. Even good for scratches, grazes and dribble rash!

  • I use moo goo products myself as my skin started flaring after having kids and I don’t use anything else anymore. The scalp cream in particular is very good, and I also use the shampoo. I was using the moo goo conditioner but found my hair wasn’t looking great so have switched to herbal essences, one that doesn’t have the methylisothiazolinone which can irritate skin. It’s a chemical found in most shampoos and conditioners, but not in the baby & kids ones.

  • we ordered online from their store.

Will post how it goes, still waiting for my order it should be here by the end of the week as its coming from another state.

  • MOMkhloexx to answer your question I have found MooGoo at our local chemist. Health food shops have MooGoo too. Hope this info helps? :)

  • I love moogoo! I use post waxing one & my mum used Moogoo on her extremely dry hands after chemo.
I ordered online and it came in a gorgeous box with little samples. Very good customer service

  • Would love to know how moogoo goes. My daughter also has cradle cap. We’ve tried many things too.
