Good luck. I wonder if this is indoors or out? I guess you could just contain it in a separate area away from things you don’t want damaged.

I’m sure there are cat deterrents on the market these days. We don’t have a cat so I have no experience with them

They tend not to like peppermint or lavendar

If you can or actually do see and catch the little darling doing this have a spray bottle full of water handy and spray pus every time it displays signs of this behaviour and see if that works.

I’m not a hundred per cent sure, but isn’t there a plant called catnip that they’re not supposed to like?
