  • I love Dr Suess books and also Pig the Pug books are great.

  • We have loads of books at our house and we access the library a lot too. Most of our books are from the op shop. They are cheap and great to pass on to others or back to the op shop. Our favourite books are once that talk about particular animals or activities. We often follow up after reading a book by visiting the zoo to see whichever animal we were reading about. :)

  • Depends on the age. The hungry caterpillar is always a favourite. My twins are 4 and I take them to the op shop or the library quite often and they can choose their own books. I’m still reading Christmas books at the moment.

  • It depends on what age group your children are. My son used to love their ‘that’s not my duck/car/dinosaur etc’ books. Since he’s got older, he honestly just loves any book and we have always read at least 10 picture books a night since he was born. Now that he is seven he is advanced in his reading, and I credit this to starting reading to him at a young age it didn’t matter what just read :)

  • Kids fav – Bluey or spot.

  • Along with libraries; bookstores also have old and new books. I get newsletters and updates on the latest books.

  • We read everything we can get our hands on – we visit the library a lot!

Currently my boys are loving “The Day the Crayon’s…” series! Very clever and funny.

  • My kids loved the touch and feel books

  • We are big readers and love to read lots and lots of books on different topics and with different themes. The local library is brilliant for having a wealth of books and also for recommending books according to your borrowing profile. It is so helpful! We love to read titles across all genres.

  • I love reading the series that starts with “that’s not my ….” my daughter loves the princess and the fairy one and they are touch and feel books with lots of colour.

  • I don’t really have any favourites in actual picture books (no words) but I love Julia Donaldson & Mem Fox as children’s authors.
I recently read last year’s childrens book of the year, Runt by Craig Silvey and loved it.

  • i have few books from Disney and they love it. but i change that every other day to keep their interest. i think they love anything with big pictures drawings.
