A friend’s little girl turns 5 next month and she is a girly girl. I was thinking of going to Spotlight and getting her a craft kit. I was there the other month and they have heaps! I’m sure that there will either be a jewellery kit or beading kit, loom bands or sewing.

Honestly if she loves barbie, there is nothing more awesome for a 5 year old than to receive barbie related stuff if not the actual toy. Buy clothes and accessories for her to play dress up with her dolls.

my daughters 5th birtday is in may she has asked for a range of things from cinderella dressups to a wubble bubble(massive ball), Baby born bath, some dress up shoes for her cinderella outfit they are like blue soft plastic princess shoes.

I saw in Big W the other day a toy birds cage that had a bird in it and you press the button and it tweets and when you hold the button down it copies what you say. It’s like a pet without the pain of having to feed and clean up after it My kids begged to get one.

If she loves Barbie there are special collectors edition Birthday Barbies. I know as a 5 year old I would think any Barbie was super special but I would especially think that some of the accessories like the camper van, car, pool, bed, etc, would be particularly awesome. Is this your child? If not, I would ask the mum for a list to choose from. A dollhouse or kitchen are pretty special too. If you are handy you can make one yourself.
Or a beautiful bracelet with her name on it.
