  • It so depends on your own little hot spots. I hvae a craft section that needs a declutter but as people have said things like medicine cupboards, kitchen areas, bathroom , .. they all need doing. One thing that I think we easily forget too is our computer hard drives! I’ve so many documents and images and videos that I really need to sort out and file away and probably delete some too!

  • What about paperwork? That builds up really fast.

  • I’d say whatever you think needs attention…my garage urgh

  • Gee this Marie Kondo decluttering has really taken off.

  • If you google Marie Kondo and checklist it will give you a visual tick a box in order of what to do

  • Marie Kondo has a couple of books and I found the book “The life changing magic of tiding up” really useful as it sets out the whole process.

  • I’d tackle the kitchen cupboards next. I found I had 4 lasagne dishes and many forgotten, unused items … and the plastic containers – so many. Much easier to find things now.

  • Also; taking on the tidying up job that is the most time consuming works for me too – once it is done every other job seems easy!

  • I always tackle the biggest jobs first when tidying up.

  • I would do whatever that is disorderly! Best of luck!

  • I did our medicine/first aid cabinet last night. It was so liberating !

  • gotten a couple of tips but I don’t think much of it is practical for my household.

  • motivation gone out the window lol. still enjoy watching the show

  • Toys and kitchenware

  • If you google her, you can find a list in order of what she recommends to tidy up!

  • I did my bathroom cupboards the other week. 5 shopping bags of out of date stuff, not used in a long time stuff, threadbare towels etc. I’ve done a couple more bits and pieces since, definitely need to keep going. It’s unreal tge amount of stuff we collect and keep even when it hasn’t been touched for years

  • Sounds like a good idea. Just whatever you feel like tackling I guess.

  • Cds and dvds sounds good. I always like doing the kitchen for some reason.

  • I think she separates it into a few categories – clothes, books, papers, garage, sentimental items.
CD & DVDS sounds like a good next step – they’d be quite similar to books really.
