  • Aw bless you mom383739 ! Are you ok now ?

  • I cried a lot, 25 weeks pregnant and have a toddler and husband who works away 2:1. I was a hormonal mess to be honest

  • We did have fun going out and enjoyed ourselves; but also remembered mothers that have passed.

  • It was the first just being at home – as we did the mother in laws the day before. And i couldnt have found it more relaxing!

  • Hubby was at work so I had lunch with my parents, aunty, cousin and the kids. We went to all you can eat and it was the best lol. I’m a big fan of buffets!!!

  • A walk around Granite Island (in SA) because it was perfect weather! Light sun, no wind. Amazing. Then a BBQ at my parents to celebrate Mum. Kept it simple to focus on what was important – time together.

  • My son took me for lunch and then his daughters joined us for a while at my place – it was a nice relaxing day and my daughter and older son also called me which topped the day off beautifully.

  • Mothers Day is a Sad day for me
    Lost my Grandmother and
MOTHER in a year so celebrating here

  • My husband worked, but he made me brekky, bought me lunch and a gift.

  • We had a wonderful day out having fun and eating good food.

  • I let my eldest plan it this year. We didn’t go anywhere. She had planned a bit too much for the day and then the two older ones wouldn’t stop bickering all afternoon. So all in all I loved their gifts and cards that they did at school but not the best (nor worst to be honest) Mother’s Day

  • Mothers Day for me is very quiet as my 3 daughters are scattered to the wind. On the Saturday i had a bunch of dried flowers delivered which are very pretty. My middle daughter phoned me at 7.30 and we chatted for 2 hours.
My eldest called me in the afternoon and we chatted for 2 hours.
My youngest called me that night and we chatted for 1 and a half hours.

If was spend a day on the phone day :)

  • We kept it calm too; just gifts, flowers and cards and for the rest it was a Sunday as usual. It was rainy weather so we didn’t go out

  • I stayed home and relaxed all weekend. Went out to some night markets for dinner and a light show with my husband. It was my birthday too so got double presents and wishes. The kids were too far away to come but the thoughts were there. Thoroughly enjoyable.
