I agree that drying completely is a must and also prefer to store bottles away without their lid.

I handwash but I also dry them on the inside with a paper towel before packing them away for the day. So far I haven’t had any problems.

I also use Steradent but after about 4 months I tend to throw them out as the smell just lingers.

Baking soda with vinegar ! And sometimes I clean them with nappysan or steradent !

Normally I put a drop of dishwashing detergent in the bottle , put some water in it and give it a good shake. To really clean it especially if you put milk or strong liquid in it , its probably best to use a bottle brush ( like the ones you wash baby bottles in ) . I bought a long brush from a bargain shop for $2 and its a nice purple colour. Also I find cheap plastic smells bad quickly and really it better to toss it out after drinking it once as bacteria can still be inside . My daughter keeps refilling the Coles or Select brand water ones. Yuk . Good luck

Hot soapy water and a baby bottle brush!

Wash in hot soapy water and thoroughly rinse and then dry. Do not put them away or store them away until they are completely dry.

I use one of those bottle brushes that you use for baby bottles, with hot soapy water a, then rinse and then say once a month use the liquid baby sterilising liquid. Also make sure they are completely dry and the lid or spout thingy is open when storing

I haven’t tried this yet, but I recently heard that using denture tablets (the ones that clean them overnight in water) can help – just fill the bottle, drop a tablet in, and leave them overnight. Then rinse well.

I have never had this happen but i just make sure to wash them well and air dry well.

Usually rinsing with diluted vinegar will make them quite crisp smelling.

Put a scoop of rice and then dish washing liquid with some hot water, shale and shake. It will clean it out good!
