Bicarb and vinegar safe for the kids

I can tell you two things I would not use – 1 not at all. Kerosone. The fumes from it are terrible. It must be used in well ventilated space. It’s good for one thing only – removing mechanical grease or oil off parts, cement, work clothes prior to washing. 2. I would never use Ajax Spray & Wipe on the outside surface of a refrigerator again. If your house is connected to grey water, the only thing that gets the tap water stains off is CLR, with a lightly abrasive mitt – wearing rubber gloves. Even professional cleaners reckon it is the only one that removes it completely. I have to have good ventilation to use white vinegar and carb soda which can be used on most things. If you are painting the inside of your house, an open container of carb soda or some on a saucer will reduce the smell of the paint. (It also works in office areas – that’s how I found out about it).

Vinegar and Bicarb soda are my go to products around the house. I don’t really like using chemicals but, I also use Aldi mould killer in the showers once a month, this gives the shower a really good mould prevention treatment and means that I don’t ever need to do any hard scrubbing in there.

Other than using baby wipes for little spot cleans on our hard wood floors – haha, but seriously I do… I’d use Earth Choice – Multi Purpose spray on so many things! It cleans properly (e.g. grease, grime caked on things…), it smells nice, and it’s kinda green – I feel ok about using it on things my family are around.
