I find bonjela to work well and panadol or nurofen if it is really bad otherwise lots of comfort

I prefer the SR-32 (I think that’s what it’s called) teething gel rather than bonjela. I find that it’s more stronger and helped my little ones through teething.

put a damp facewasher in the freezer, and let bub suck on it

Teething rusks and toys help, also frozen formula or breastmilk icy poles or cows milk if older.

We used bonjela and the little one settled better. It has a bit of alcohol in it so it knocks them out!

There has been several warnings about the risks of using Amber Beads. You didn’t mention your son’s age. Some babies like something cold to suck or chew on. A teething device that you can chill in the fridge or a teaspoon are two things you can try. Some like teething devices that aren’t chilled. If your baby is dribbling a lot, he may need an extra feed for hydration or boiled water (depending on baby’s age). Maybe talk to a Pharmacist as see if you get any other suggestions, a practice nurse with child health knowledge. If all else fails you may need to consult your GP or contact a health help line or you local Childrens’ Hospital. Your baby’s gums could even be infected if teeth has started to “cut” but the gum has come up over them.

I believe that Amber Beads work well for little ones that are teething. Also teething rings are a great option 🙂

Panadol and neurogenic every two hours and bonjela nurofen and cuddles

Bonjella worked with me. My kids hated the taste but I’d immediately put the bottle in their mouth after I’ve applied the jel and they’d settle or fall asleep.

Cool teething rings used under supervision worked well.

Amber beads. Literally 12 hours after putting one on my sons ankle (we didn\’t want the necklace because he was so young at the time, however he does wear it now at almost 2), he was a different child. I was one of those skeptical parents who thought a necklace wouldn\’t work, but it can\’t hurt anyway so we put one on him and will never look back

I used bonjela and brauers teething gel. My daughter would actually open her mouth for the bonjela. My friend gave her daughter ice chips. Sometimes there are other issues with teething like nappy rash, acidic pee/poo etc. Personally I wouldn’t recommend a necklace as I question how safe they are especially at night. Some people wrap these around the baby’s ankle and if they are in a sleep sack then they can’t pull it off

I have also found brauers teething relief to be really helpful. It can be used in conjunction with panadol or nurofen. We also used to elevate one end of my daughter’s cot and this helped too. Also if you use dummies, keep them in the fridge, the cold offers them relief

I feel your pain. We’ve had some rough nights but drugs usually help a bit. This isn’t for everyone but some nights I cosleep and just feed him back to sleep (might not work if your formula feeding!) or gave the dummy… but cosleeping helped me more than him so I didn’t have to get up so much. I have no solutions just remember it shall pass. And as already suggested a doctor’s appointment doesn’t hurt if it doesn’t seem to be passing.

I have found that the Brauer’s Teething Relief works wonders – it worked wonders for my now 11 year old daughter and is working wonders for my nearly 1 year old son 🙂

A while ago I was baby sitting for the night and the parents told me baby was teething. He screamed in his sleep and woke himself up. He was hot and clammy. I soothed him with a little milk and he went back to sleep but 20 minutes later the same scream and crying. I thought about taking his temp to find it high. Gave him some Baby Panadol Mum had left me..(I did message Mum). He did settle but had a bad night. Mum took him to the doctor in the morning to find he had a ear infection on top of teething. maybe have this checked out just to be sure.
