My two year old is now biting her toenails!

Hello!

She stops when I tell her to stop and say it’s yucky, but four hours later I’ll catch her doing it again! Does anyone have any advice or to make her stop, or insight as to why toddlers do this?

They’re so flexible, their toes just find their way into their mouths. You could also try that bitter nail polish which tastes yucky to dissuade her from doing it.

try to keep them trimmed and paint them so that they are pretty. keep telling her that you don’t bite your nails like that lol. i think that it is just curiousity lol
