  • Neither did I, I had a Phil & Teds and loved it.

  • I didn’t have either of these prams. I had a Peg Perego.

  • neither! get a city select

  • My sister has a Bugaboo which seems pretty good although she complains about the lack of storage space. I looked at it when shopping for myself but I couldn’t reconcile the cost of the Bugaboo when the other prams offered same/ similar features for a smaller price!

I have a Strider Compact which is amazing (and has lots of storage space) but on the downside, it can be a bit tricky to collapse.

  • Definitely bugaboo, more sturdy and practical! Good luck!

  • I would shop around and check reviews online for prams.

  • I always check out the reviews on products before buying try the website Productreview.com.au for people who have tried both prams. Just by looking at the site it appears the Stokke has the better rating. It would also pay however to go into a shop and have a play around with the two you are considering. Doing this I ended up with a Silver cross Wayfarer, I love the way it handles, how it comes with the bassinet and the seat and if you want to add the car seat attachment also.

  • I always look at reviews from other consumers before buying a product here is Bugaboo reviews http://www.productreview.com.au/c/strollers/m/bugaboo.html and here is the Stokke reviews http://www.productreview.com.au/c/strollers/m/stokke.html. Based on reviews Stokke seems to be better rated. However it always pays to go into a store and try them both out. Due to both reviews, looking at the website and trialling I personally chose a Silvercross Wayfarer as it suited my family and I liked the handling.

  • Just going by looks I’d say Bugaboo.. I haven’t used either so make sure they are right for your needs.

  • We used a Baby Jogger City Mini as it was the slimest stroller around at the time. Was very easy to steer with one hand and the folding technique (one quick pull by a strap) had the stroller folded. Loved it

  • I have a bugaboo bee and have used it for 5 years with both my kids. Even after 5 years it still looks beautiful and stylish and is so easy to handle as it was when I first bought it.

  • I love my bugaboo cameleon! Best purchase I’ve made! Every function is good and it’s super stylish too!! Everyone always comments on how nice it looks!

  • shop around and make sure you get the best price though on the pram that you pick

  • I have a 16 month old and love my bugaboo cam. It’s extremely light to steer (one handed with a coffee is a breeze!) and big enough for a newborn to toddler.
One thing I didn’t like was the bassinet. When my daughter was young and using the bassinet she would roll around all over the place as there are no restraints! I ended up
Moving to the toddler seat when she was about 4.5 months and using a head/ body support pillow (like you use in a car seat) which worked well.
    Goodluck!

  • I have a bugaboo chameleon and love it – it’s easy to steer and easy to fold up. Although the first few times its a bit difficult – but that’s cause it was new!!
The storage underneath isn’t very big, and if you have the bassinet on, then you basically won’t be able to use it.

I had a second baby 18months later, so ended up buying another pram (strider compact) – it’s cheaper (and you get more with it), it’s just as easy to steer and fold up/down. Heaps of storage room, and same suspension and wheels as bugaboo (mine is the more expensive of the various strider compacts). However, I still use my bugaboo when I only have one of my babies (can’t bring myself to sell it just yet!!)
Really think about what you are going to use it for, and definitely test it out!!
I’ve used my bugaboo on the beach, dirt tracks and normal shopping/city areas – it has performed well in all areas.

  • Pram choice is up to the individual – what works for me doesn’t neccessarily mean that it will work for you. Think about what you plan to use it for and then go to the store and give them a trial – ask for demonstrations on how to fold it up…will it fit into your boot etc.

  • you don’t have to spend a lot to get a good pram, just make sure it comes up to aus safety standards. bugaboo is popular with celebs lol

  • I’ve got a friend who has a Bugaboo and loves it. I personally love and use the Baby Jogger City Select. The ability to be able to add a second full-sized seat has been awesome with two. I know Bugaboo now has a model that allows you to do the same, but it’s a side-by-side style, which can be a pain getting around places! Just a thought if you plan to have more than one and want your pram to last :)
