Think I would clean the grooves with those special sponges for in the bathroom and mop afterwards with a mop which is wrung out well. Depending on how big your floor area is. When it’s a continuous pain you could consider a new floor ?

Try laying old towels down after washing to absorb the water. Still a pain in the bum, but easier then getting down on your hands and knees

Last time I got down on hands and knees and used a scrubbing brush and bleach – it did get the grout clean between the tiles, but oh boy, what an exhausting job. I’m not looking forward to doing that again any time soon. So I was hoping somebody else had had the problem and found an answer.

I agree with JodieV1980. I would just use towel to wipe over.

What about walking an old towel over it after you’ve washed it?

I have a question? Did you manage to get the dirt and grime out of the grooves? On the floor tiles we had in another house I actually resorted to using an old toothbrush to remove the dirt and grime – and I did it weekly.
Was it a warm day when you cleaned your floor and were able to allow plenty of ventilation through? I have a vinyl floor which looks like floorboards and it has grooves in it. No matter what I try my floor will not dry even leave and leaves streak marks on it. Some of my neighbours have the same floor covering and have the same problem. I am think I may have to go over it again a few minutes later with a dry duster. Don’t know what my rate of success will be. I have a large open plan hallway, kitchen- dining and living area all with the same floor covering. I think I am going to try it in the kitchen area first. You can’t see into it from the front door.
Anybody else come up with some ideas???? I need help too !!!
