Hello!

Has anyone tried any of the slushie maker cups? There’s a few different brands and they vary a lot in price. At Big W there’s Chill Factor Slushy Cup which costs $14. Then there’s the Zoku cups that cost $30-$40! And there’s some other brands too. If you’ve tried one or more which ones have you tried? Do they work well and can young kids use them?

  • Cool topic! Really interesting reading the comments to this!

  • My daughter has one of tho expensive machines and yes it works but it is a lot of messing around and it is noisy we have only used a couple of times. She was just recently give one of the Big W ones and it is excellent fast and nothing is needed except having it washed and kept in the freezer. She did struggle a little to squeeze it hard enough but as an adult helping it was made in on time at all. :-)

  • i would just make them because it’s a novelty an i have never had a certain cup for it before

  • I have always believed they don’t work, but am torn when reading all these comments

  • We love our ones from Big W. They’ll be back in action come Spring :-)

  • great feeback on this question will take it all onboard myself

  • We have an expensive slush maker in my opinion it’s a waste of money u would get the same result using a blender on the ice crush mode or buy those slushie cups from big w , we have used ours twice in two years

  • Looks like you have got some great feedback::)!

  • We had these years ago and they took forever to work!

  • They are all a waste of money & kids were disappointed as they never turned out like on TV

  • I’ve heard most of them are slow to make the slushie but I guess that keeps the kids busy for longer

  • then u should get the big W ones

  • yes they work great my partner mum has them

  • there are some good comments here

  • thanks for the feedback from everyone. i have been wondering the same thing so was great to get feedback from everyone.

  • the slushie machines seem quite cheap now – not sure about the cups as they seem to take a long time to use.

  • My grand kids got them for Christmas and they work really well.

  • They sound fun. Do you have to keep them in the freezer prior to use?

  • Reviews say this is tops. Enjoy what you get out of it and invest in something newer at the end of 2014.
