Any place they can explore safely without you being there all the time. Try and find play centres that have specific areas for kids under 2. Swimming is also a good activity to get them a little worn out!
Fenced in parks / playgrounds, bike ride, a long walk around botanical gardens (perhaps a picnic also) to feed ducks (don’t feed bread tho as it is bad for them), an indoor play centre (we have a few locally in Tasmania that are great for expelling excess energy
Google up parks in your neighbourhood. There are sometimes great parks with a ton of things for toddlers to do. We have one that is about 20 mins drive but totally worth it. It has a toddler area, sandpit, small duckpond, bike track and a wading pond. You could take bread to feed the ducks there, have a picnic, run around, kick a ball etc. All fun things for a toddler. Some clubs also have a toddler/fun area so you could feasibly have a drink or meal while the kids run around inside supervised.
i meant like a kids playground, not park. you could take him for a walk around the botanic gardens. Take him to feed some ducks, get him a bike and take him for a little ride somewhere.
