Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knows of a free (or cheap) party planning app I can use for my son’s 2nd birthday. I have done a few google searches and the majority I have found I have to pay for (before I can try). Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Do you need an app? I just use the “notes” to keep track of my to do list for parties.

  • Yep, save your money and plan your own party. He’s only 2 fir goodness sake it won’t be hard to make him happy on his special day

  • great idea go for it

  • i didn’t know there were apps for this – a great idea

  • there are some good comments here

  • Did you end up finding any?

  • there might be some on mouth of mums ….

  • Pinterest is brilliant when it comes to any DIY projects, party or not! Good luck!

  • do a search on the apple store and you should get a big list of them

  • omg peppa pig theme is great!!! i have to do this too!!

  • I was also going to suggest Pinterest as they have some fantastic ideas.

  • Yes you may find some interesting helpful things on Pinterest.

  • Pinterest is FANTASTIC for party ideas, as is the good old Google search. We had a Peppa Pig party for my son’s 2nd birthday, and this year, for his 3rd, we had an Octonauts party. All my ideas came from Google images. Good luck!

  • Never thought of using an app for birthday parties. Good Idea and I hope you find some.

  • If you Google you will be amazed at the collection of ideas you will get.

  • You don’t need an app. Just get a cake, balloons, and family and friends and they will think its Christmas. Simple is best for little ones. If you want to go all out try websites like essential kids as they have ideas, recipes and games to suit birthdays for kids. Also chocolate cake or cupcakes are great for kids as the fancy ones usually have that much icing on them the kids won’t eat them.

  • I didn’t think of a app for kids parties. I just always used lists. Apps could make it simplier tho”. I’d keep it simple for a 2yo party though.

  • I’m afraid all the good Apps in the Apple’s Appstore all need to be paid for.

  • Party planning at this age just involves deciding who to invite, how many to invite, buying/making some invitations, handing/sending them out, deciding on a cake and food and having fun.

  • I couldn’t see any free ones for this, hope you can find a freebie.
