Oh! I do. Plus, I buy my friends dogs in the neighbourhood one too. I give little gifts to one of my neighbours kids and also their dog. They deserve a present too. I buy chews that are dried pigs ear and have been coloured with natural food colouring into the Xmas sticks. So yes. I think if you treat your dog or cat or bird etc etc you can buy them a gift.
We have 2 indoor cats, a bird and 2 goldfish. My kids, aged 18 and 16, take delight in buying for their pets especially the pussycats. As if the cats don’t have enough toys as it is, they’re always keen to buy more toys especially at Christmas time. My house looks like a pussycat daycare centre but that’s ok. It’s Christmas!
I currently don’t have a pet but if i did, i would definitely buy a present for my dog. When I had a dog, he always got a gift each year as he was part of the family. You can get some really great pet kids these days that aren’t expensive.
We used to when the kids were little as they wanted to include all family members but otherwise it is a waste of money, spending for the sake of it. Our dog gets way too many food nibbled handed under the table on the day by various people so there is no chance she is missing out lol.
Ha ha i love this question! Im definitely all for including pets in the family gifts as i just cant help it when i see cute gifts at the shops! It’s not usually something that costs a lot. Sometimes just a few new toys or treats for them. Why not! They’re family
Yep! We do ours from Santa but I found it great to sometimes buy something small from us and something from Santa that is the same item so we can say oh no.. we bought the same as Santa. It always helped if they were in doubt about Santa being real
Okay, look, I”m not an animal person and I don’t have pets, so…. but why would this matter? I’m genuinely baffled. I wouldn’t buy a pet a present because they wouldn’t really understand it, so why spend the money? But if it’s important to you, I also don’t get the Santa/ me dilemma. They won’t know that either!
I definitely do haha. I even bought our cat her own mini stocking with the first letter of her name from Kmart to match all of ours. I usually get her a new scratcher and some treats. She’s not big into toys but loves those cardboard scratching pads and cubbies from Kmart
