I really don’t think a towel would be enough to keep them warm enough to get home in the middle of winter!!!

I don’t know of any for older children, I would buy a normal towel and sew some Velcro on it to keep it around their chests

I’d get cheapies from Kmart (eg) as the chlorine at public pools is so pungent and fabric damaging.

That’s a great idea Kaz, I never thought of making ours but they would be really easy and I have sewing machine sitting right here!

Best and Less do some great hooded towels that are well priced – these come in many designs that are super cute!
If you can’t find what you are looking for though or wanted a thicker quality towel have you considered making your own? My mum did this for me when I was younger and I absolutely loved it!

Try Woolworths or K Mart .

We got some cheapies from KMart and find them fine. Anything you use at a public pool will fast deteriorate due to their excessive use of, and need for, chlorine. Spending less means less hip pocket pain when replacing and faster drying time when washed!
