I use the contigo brand. They aren’t perfectly leak proof as they say they are but the mouth piece is comfortable and easily flips out with a button suitable for small fingers. I also tried the Nuby brand and although it doesnt leak the suction action needs to be strong to get any water out and the button to flip the lid us harder to use for my 4 year old

Stainless steel water bottles are tough and good for water storage.

We re-use thw water bottles we buy but only for a short time!

Bobble or stainless steel are the most durable

Not ones with straw type kids and holes, they go mouldy inside it’s gross.

Smash and Tupperware drink bottles seem to last and not leak.

We always seem to get given marketing material free ones – as my boys often lost drink bottles they used them (no financial waste)

what ever you get change regularly or wash in a hot dishwasher

I don’t think there are any better than others – as long as they are comfortable using them.

Don’t buy cheap and nasty, the health of your children is more important than a few dollars.

I have thermos Fogoo one. Seems to be good.
