Hello!

I’ve got a back pack and I need to remove the old school label, any tips so i can get it off to place the new school logo on it.

  • Good luck. If yo don’t get it off with the iron. And/or putting something over isn’t an option I would be thinking time to ask the school for an exception. Backpacks only last a short while it will be worn out before they know it (also if they change the logo they may be willing to compromise)

  • I agree with the mums who have said they would try and pull it off. Hopefully this won’t damage the backpack.

  • Are you fortunate that the 2 schools use the same colour backpack or isn’t the colour compulsory? I’m glad you’re not trying to get the logo off uniforms.

  • I try to peel them off with tweezers and hot water

  • I have found by getting a pair of tweezers and picking at one of the corners until you can get a good grip with the tweezers and then rip it off works. The longer the label has been there the easier it is.

  • I’ve found that these labels generally wear off over time, frustratingly! But I’ve never needed to remove them myself

  • Maybe eucalyptus oil ? Or heat it up with the iron ?

  • Myself as well as google agree with Nadine’s answer.

  • Tea tree oil is a worker as well. Good luck.

  • The previous answer sounds spot on, but if by chance it doesn’t work, maybe Eucalyptus oil ?

  • Turn your iron on to the highest setting. Place either a thin piece of cloth or parchment paper over the label. Apply heat to the cloth or parchment paper over the iron-on label for 10 to 15 seconds. Carefully remove the cloth or parchment paper and immediately pull the corner of the label.
