  • For me it was so long ago that I don’t remember the brand, but I didn’t suffer any side effects.

  • I’ve tried Yasmin and microgynin sp? And Yaz. All had some side effects, mainly bloating and weight gain. But also depressive thoughts and lack of sex drive. I couldn’t wait till I could go off them completely

  • I was on Norimin for years but found it difficult to lose weight. I switched over to Yasmin and found it to be much better. On both i have not experience any spot bleeding or other symptoms but as other’s have mentioned the side effects are individual to each person.

  • I used to take the pill pre kids. But now my hormones react to the pill. So I have tried numerous and even depo needle but have the mirena now and it works for me.

  • All pills affect people differently. It’s best to speak to your GP and work out what might best suit you. I had to change mine a few times as they were making me feel nauseous.

  • Side effects do vary from person to person too.

  • I never tried them before.I used mirena treatment before. But i removed it last year as i got lots of side effects.

  • I’m back on monofeme again. I was on it for 5 years then GP suggested I switch. I went to marvelon which caused weight gain but my skin was fantastic. A few years in it caused extreme swelling in my hands and feet so I was switched back to monofeme. A bit of a headache and nausea when I changed but after a week or so no more issues.

  • If concerned with side effects it is always best to follow up with a GP.

  • I’m on Diane 35 and have tried a few, but I definitely have less side effects in Diane 35

  • Every contraceptive pill has some k ind of side effect. I hope you find the right one for you!

  • I take levlen ed and I must admit it definitely effects my emotions compared to when I am off it. The only other side effect was a little bit of weight gain but besides that has been good so far.

  • Sorry cant help you. Never used any…better talk to your gp

  • I can’t remember what I was on, but long term it probably contributed to me having a stroke.
