My 10yo boy, year 5, will have a school camp at the end of term 3, it’s an overnight stay.
It would be his first time away from home without me or family.
I would love for him to experience this, though I have a problem. My boy, sometimes, sleep walks and he would have no clue what he’s done in that time.
When it happens at home, we would ask him the next day he had no idea.
It doesn’t happen often, we try to find out but do not know what may trigger it to happen.
Do I still let him go on camp?
I’m not afraid he’s going to walk off camp site etc, I’m afraid if it does happen the embarrassment he will need to go through after, yet we don’t know if it even will happen.
