My kids love getting out in the fresh air even if its just going to the park or having a picnic by the pond, riding their bikes or a day trip to the beach. Depending on your area there’s often lots of free activities over the holidays – just check your local paper etc or maybe there is a museum or local library close?

Usually the local shipping centre’s have kids activities that are free. Our library also runs a number of free programs so might be worth checking your local library out too. If the weather’s nice the options are endless with parks and sending the kids on a hunt to find certain items, bush walks, beach walks, sporting activities, treasure hunts. If it’s miserable weather definitely hit up your local shopping center and library they are sure to have something going on.
