They are limited, I think they have a short life span. From my experience, once you have exhausted your family and friends, it is hard to get your sales up and keep them up

I’ve tried a few – but I find unless I really love the product myself – it is a hard sell!

I think it would depend on the number of customers you think you would get. If it’s for a business rather than just to get out and do something, perhaps consider something with a name behind it like Tupperware. Most people know what it is and the quality of the product so half your sale pitch is already done. Good luck whatever you do!

If you have the customers .

Think wisely of the outlay of money & if you genuinely can make money,you don’t want to be conned & stuck with a kit that cost you hundreds or thousands.

my mate does lorraine lea parties and does most of the parties on a weekend and makes quite a bit

The biggest advantage I have found that it is now my social life and I make money doing it! I meet so many people and enjoy a chat, coffee and cake and it is helping me to get over being shy. I was hesitant at first but now I can’t recommend it enough and I really enjoy the extra bit of money each week.

I think to have a really successful party plan business, you need to be a confident person who can sell ice to an eskimo. Good luck with your new venture.

it is up to you, I wouldn’t do it because they usually cost you money to start up

they are a lot of work and at times you don’t make any money, you need a clientele who like to spend and spend regularl

I had a friend who started her own party plan business doing “portrait parties” for families. No money to a big corporation. Think outside the box – you don’t have to go with an established company

You still have to work very hard at getting these businesses to work. It’s not all fun and games as the companies make it look.

Tupperware might be a good one and I have also seen lots of Tupperware products on ebay which might be an easier way to sell
