  • I lost strength in my left leg but fortunately it went back to normal after a month. I would ask your GP for help if your hands don’t improve.

  • I do find my muscles in general after having children , and I feel it is getting worse as we get older. Perhaps that is why health professionals keep pushing us to sustain healthy exercise and diet daily ..

  • Isn’t it weird the side effects we get whilst pregnant and then again/still after baby is born. Hope you work it out

  • Get a stress ball and constantly play with it

  • I had two back to back pregnancies and I got Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands needing operations to release them both.
My hands became weak and I got pins and needles and shooting pain from my middle finger, best to see a hand clinic/doctor to see what the cause may be. Good luck.

  • I’m the same I feel my hands are so weak compared to what they used to be before bub

  • I think its best to be safe and that you should mention this to your Doc.
It could be something as simple as a pinched nerve but best to get checked.

  • Get checked out by your doctor and chiro. Could just be muscle or nerve problems.

  • Sounds like it could be post partum carpal tunnel syndrome. Fluid retention, overuse, many possibilities. Your ob/gyn can advise.

  • Doing gentle weights and exercise (incorporating bub, if you can) really does help.

  • I didn’t loose strength but my hands got shakey, I found squeezing them stress balls beneficial :)
