  • Hubby was at work. Kids called him, sent pressures in the post. Not really a big deal in my home

  • We celebrated with good food, good wine and good company! A great day!

  • We celebrated Father’s Day with a BBQ with the family.
My little ones spoilt their Daddy & I spoilt my Mum as my Father chooses not to be apart of my life.
We had a lovely family day with the kids, followed by a round of cards for the adults after the kids went to bed.

  • for the first one, I got him a drink bottle personalised with his favorite photo of baby.

  • With lots and lots of food

  • For the first Father’s Day we went out for lunch at his favourite restaurant, this year he was working so we did his favourite takeaway – pizza haha!!

  • The best way – all together! :)

  • we all went out for dinner

  • Whatever the kids wanted to do, got done. They make gifts at school/daycare and hand them over. They usually try and make breakfast, but not in bed. Then they hassle him for the whole day to spend time with them

  • Hubby worked so the kids and I cooked his favourite meal and a dinosaur cake (4 year old’s idea!) and gave him his gifts that night.

  • we went up to the Mornington Peninsula as we were also celebrating my Birthday. We went to a nice day market and then had fish and chips on the beach. It was nice.

  • Fathers’ Day 2015 was our second Fathers Day. The first one I think we did breakfast in bed with presents and then visits with grandparents. This year we did presents in bed, a fry up and then lunch with my Dad.

I’d really like to just spend the day with my partner and bubba and put the focus just on him, but we both feel obligated to spend time with the Grandads. Which is not a bad thing – I just feel bad for him that the attention is taken away from him.
