Hello!

Has anyone got any clever ways of storing headbands other than in a container where they can be out on display and easy to grab?

  • I keep them in the container I bought them as I usually buy really plain hairbands but I have friends who put them on a jewellery stand as well.

  • Put a piece of ribbon tied with one end that is tied so doesn’t undo on your wardrobe and you can clip one onto the ribbon and then the next and next continually till you have hung what you have. You can clip with tiny pegs or small safety pins done where they can’t be seen.

  • I have a belt hook which is like a coat hanger with a circle attached to it and the circle is open at the end so you just slide them on. Not sure where I got it from as I have had it for years but try k mart or big w I am sure they would have a similar thing.

  • A necklace jewellery stand.

  • I bought flower hangers from daiso and looped them into it.
It’s overflowing at the moment so need a second one.
It was only $2.80 and comes in a variety of colours!

  • We use an older hanger that can be opened & clipped shut thanks to my handy father, their grandpa.

  • Check out T Leaf Collections, and Butterfly Garden (for kids) websites. They have gorgeous storage pieces for headbands! Otherwise, Pinterest have some cute ideas too!

  • get a strong ribbon or rope, place on the inside door from side to side of your wardrobe. Then you can just hang them along, you can fit a lot on it and they are easy to see and easy to get.

  • You can use a big Milo tin (or milk formula tins), wrap it with a cloth (I used an old muslin wrap), and use it to hold the headbands around its girth.

  • From Kmart ????

  • Over a necklace jewellery stand?

  • I have one of those little clothes hangers. It has lots of pegs on it, I use it for undies, socks etc. Could be used for headbands too

  • I bought a cheap piece of board, sprayed it with spray paint, stapled different coloured ribbons across and down it and hang the headbands from that – it cost less that $20, hangs on the wardrobe door and makes finding what I want quick and easy!

  • K-Mart, Big W or thrift shops might also have some cost effective storage solutions?

  • Make your own Headband stand. Use a 2 litre Coke or Lemonade Bottle filled with water to keep the weight and place stickers all over it for decoration. Then place all your headbands around the girth.

  • A wooden vertical paper towel holder is cost effective storage for headbands/scrunchies. They look pretty stacked on top of each other. I like the pool noodle idea suggestion by BellaB for the storage of other headbands.

  • I pop my daughters in a clear plastic shoe storage bag over the back of her door.

  • See if a pool noodle is the right size – you could cut it into segments.
