Hello!

This is my baby girls first summer so I want to take her swimming. She gets very bad eczema. I have to be very careful what I put on her skin as most products give her rashes or make her eczema worse so I’m worried about putting sunscreen on her in case it gives her a rash or flares her eczema up. Do any mums have some recommendations for me please?

  • I would go for zinc

  • ECO NATURAL BABY SUNSCREEN SPF30+ 100G
    WOTNOT also has some

  • I like invisible zinc products
    make sure you moistures after

  • Try Banana Boat, it worked wonders for me!

  • Try invisible zinc. or another zinc based sunscreen. good luck

  • Go with something natural and organic and test in a small spot

  • the cancer council has some good creams out, try those

  • Get on-line and go to http://www.carolineskincare.com.au/

Caroline has some of the most amazing creams for anyone with eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and other problems. She is usually quite happy to send you some small sample pots so you can try the product before you buy. I know several people who’d almost given up hope until they tried her products, they’re really good.

  • A layer of natural skin moisturizer first then sun screen…

  • I found that my daughter’s eczema was much worse after playing in the sandpit, in the playground or at the beach.

  • Mum I’s be worried about swimming in a chlorine pool or a pool with so much salt or chemicals that react badly with your daughter. Cover her up with a big brim hat and rash suit. You might find that river water is a better solution.

  • Swimming is highly likely to aggravate eczema. I make 100% natural eczema balm and sunscreen. Please visit my site at http://www.mabebe.com.au.
