Hello!

Hi,
I use the Yuka app as I like to know what’s in various things we eat and use… I’ve tried Moo Goo and Wot Not sunscreens and like Wot Not better as easier to apply. .. but we go through it quickly with daycare… any other recommendations?

  • One out of two of my girls seems to have more of a sensitive eczema prone skin that doesnt always like all sunscreens. I have found that cancer council works best for my girls and even better that i can actually claim this brand on ny health insurance so its a win win

  • I like Bondi Sands and I tend to buy it when its on sale.

  • I always use Cancer Council sunscreen because it is affordable and works well on my sensitive skin. I do keep an eye out for when sunscreen is on special with the hope of making a saving. We use a lot of sunscreen and any savings is a bonus for our family.

  • I have no idea what the Yuka app is. I use Woolworths own brand sunscreen in the orange pump jar and it has always worked well for us. I have no idea what ingredients are in, maybe I should be looking, but it works really well and we use a lot when gardening.

  • For myself, I love the Go-To sunscreen range. It’s lightweight, easily absorbed, smells nice and doesn’t immediately make my eyes water. For the family I use the Cancer Council range of Moo Goo. I like the sensitive roll on for my toddler, easy to apply and is spf50+ which is most important

  • I haven’t heard of the Yuka app either. But what does the Yuka app recommend ??
I’ve been using Bondi Sands. I won once a prize pack of Bondi Sands via Mouth of Mums and have to say I like their sunscreen products. The products are fragrance free, absorb fast and are gentle on the skin. They are also Paraben free and Sulphate free and it’s Australian made

  • I haven’t heard of Yuka app either but I’m a fan of Wot Not sunscreen for myself (my kids are old enough to buy their own now). I imagine it would be expensive using it daily for little ones – are you able to buy it with shopback?

  • I have never heard of the app Yuka before, I will have to do some research on it, it sounds interesting. I also agree with the comment below, MooGoo is very good, perhaps you can check weekly to see when it is on sale as i know various stores do sales on this product at different times and if you have time to check it is worth it. I have never tried Wot Not before so i can’t comment.

  • I am not to sure on the review via the Yuka app as I do not currently have it but but I love the MooGoo and WotNot sunscreens as my youngest has had reactions to every other sunscreen brand however I know because of their formula that they are hard to apply haha
Another that I would suggest that is also easy to apply is La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Spray.
It is honestly crazy how many sunscreen brands there are.
