I agree with Ellen …hair is lighter and thinner at this age ….shaving etc will only cause more issues, best to wait a while.

Age 10 is a bit young for shaving. An epilator hurts, it hurts on my legs and underarms are more sensitive. Choose wisely

If you have the option to, I would recommend an epilator. I use one weekly to remove hairs as a cheaper alternative to waxing. As you probably already know, Shaving causes the hairs to become thick and dark, and requires constant upkeep..

Personally I wouldn’t consider to buy a shaver to use for underarm hair at such a young age. When armpit hair starts growing it’s initially very light and nearly invisible. Time enough to consider this at a later age. NB my 12, 16 or even 17yr old never asked for it.
