My 2 and a half year old loves animals and being outside. We go to the park a lot or she’s happy just to walk around and see new places and things – she especially likes the duck pond. When we are home we have a sand/water table outside which she loves and I always have a few bubble wands and tubs of play dough on hand.
WE look for free things as much as possible. We pack a picnic and catch a train. The ride a ferry, picnic and return home. We love to get out of the house. The museum offer free play and kids exhibits. A bus to a different park with a good playground is an adventure!
set up an indoor or outdoor obstacle course where the child gentle taps a soft ball around and in and out the course and comes back to the start. Kids loved being timed too – gives a challenge. P
Play keep the balloon off the floor, bubbles, cooking activities are always fun – particularly no bake bliss balls, slices, fruit skewers etc.
My son (4 years) love Lego! I try do let my kids make mess with crafty stuff, sometimes play dough, playing outside. Snacks haha. I make my kids have rest time after lunch, napping or reading books quietly, which is a good break time for myself too. I actually find my kids easier without screens. My son gets in bad moods whenever I let him watch TV!
Things I do with my 3 yr old. Craft time. Baking simple cookies. Gardening. Playgrounds. Play dough (including making it). Hide and seek. Building with blocks. Play dates.
