  • Im in my mid forties and I used to like Nivea tinted moisturiser. But I also wear some tinted serums or liquid foundations on occasion. Sometimes it’s nice to just have a bit of extra colour but nothing too thick and milky and caked on. Sometimes a concealer is all you need and does the job.

  • I have been using Garnier BB perfecting cream tinted Light Cream for over 45 years. It’s light tint has a SPF 25 added for sun care and when it’s on special it’s half price I buy two at a time, $8:50 usually $15.99. I love it and feels so soft, smooth and hydrated and I get lots of complements.

  • I would use BB cream. I use Missha and it’s been great

  • For something lightweight and easy to apply, I’d recommend trying the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream—it has great coverage, SPF, and doesn’t feel heavy at all. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is another fantastic option for a natural glow, and Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer gives a beautiful dewy finish. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, L’Oréal Paris Skin Paradise Tinted Moisturizer is great too. These all feel super light on the skin and won’t look cakey, so they’re perfect for everyday wear!

  • The Body Shop has some nice, lightweight tints. They’re the best I’ve found so far for color, but they’re not as moisturising as I’d like.

  • MAC brought out a tinted moisturiser and I love it. It might be more of a light cover foundation vs tinted moisturiser but I find it easy to use with the right coverage I need. Not oily or dry and had a good range of shades. Not heavy at all.

  • Also it is very important to find and purchase a moisturiser that fits in with a budget. The moisturiser has to be able to fit into future budgets too. I always go with products that are affordable and work well on skin and surprisingly they are never overly expensive to purchase.

  • Honestly I just like the garnier tinted moisturiser. It’s lightweight and contains sunscree. It basically just gives you a light, natural coverage. It’s definitely not cakey in fact most people wouldnt realise you were
wearing anything. Its also quite cheap to buy especially compared to some of the other popular brands.

  • I have several recommendations that might suit. I am an older lady (: and have found the following products to be excellent.
    Embryolisse Complexion Correcting CC Cream
Embryolisse Soin Blush de Peau Rose Lumiere
and for make up days Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.
The Soin Blush de Peau is rose tinted as the name suggests, I believe there is a apricot tinted one as well which I am eager to try.
Do a bit of research on these three and I’m sure they will be the type of product you are after. The Armani is the most expensive but if you shop around they sell in a more affordable travel size which is also great if you don’t use foundation a lot. Hope this helps!!

  • Garnier have tinted moisturisers and they won’t break the bank either not like some suggested here. Plus, if you go for a CC cream or a BB cream you should make sure there’s an SPF in it. 30+SPF is recommended. Garnier is pretty good with their products. Hope I’ve helped.

  • This is interesting as it’s something I’ve been thinking about lately. I’ll be following.

  • It can be tricky to find the right tinted moisturise because skin is quite different for every person. It is always a good idea to go into a store that allows product testing and sample different products. It is also very important to product test on a patch of skin for any reactions.

  • IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ is excellent. It’s buildable, so you can have light or full coverage. It’s hydrating and is SPF50 so covers all bases. They sell it at Sephora so you can go there to colour match, then buy from Adore beauty for the best price (what I do). It’s a fave of mine.

  • Not exactly what you asked for but have you thought about a BB Cream instead. There are so many different brands available and different shades. Garnier BB Creams are reasonably priced and work for me. Look out for when they are on sale at Priceline or even at the supermarkets.
    Hope this helps
