Do something that you really love doing but haven’t been able to do for a while, eg read a book, watch. Movie, do some drawing/painting.

I’ve organised for a coffee with my friend! My child is super ready for school. Even though I’ll be a mess once she’s gone, I’ll be brave for her because it’s an exciting time for her.

i was more upset than my daughter! she literally ran off and started playing with people so i had to just walk off. lol. she was fine

It’s hard letting go, at any age, but it’s something we must do more then once during our children’s lives. You just need to remind yourself it’s a good thing for your daughter. Even if she screams the place down the first couple of days she goes
