I think this is a great thing as it shows they have drive!
My daughter is the polar opposite and is super shy and anxious with whatever she does in unfamiliar and new environments, I really hope she grows out of it.
As a mother of 3 boys they all enjoyed & competed in the same sports but they all had different styles & techniques. I praised them all the same & continually reminded them they were all good at what they achieved. They had there fair share of arguments over the years but they supported one another on & off the field, so teaching them to be good sportsman to one another is the best advice.
Yep, I have a competitive daughter who competes all the time with her brother. We have to make it all about the “journey” rather than winning. It’s hard!
Depends on if it’s healthy competitiveness or something more. Boys seem to have energy to burn and as long as they an outlet for it life should be easier for everyone so lots of sport and phew activities is my recommendation.
Welcome to life as mum to 3 boys! Although, as a mum to a son and a daughter, I have to say competiveness isn’t just limited to the boys! It’s not a bad thing
