My two year old has started trying to climb out of her cot. How can we make the tradition to a big bed smoother?

set a routine, put them in the new bed and stick to it

We took our toddler shopping to pick out his “big boy bed”. We also let him choose a quilt cover that he loved. He was excited to use the big boy bed.

I am at this stage too and thinking about transitioning my 2 year old son, but im so nervous as I don’t think he will stay in there at all once he knows he can just get out lol

You will need lots of patience! Some kids continually get out of bed once they discover how easy it is to get out! Definitely get the safety side rails

You can get single beds that are lower to the ground and I would recommend this as children do tend to roll out of bed.

get a toddler bed or a single bed low to the ground.

Prepare her for it and involve her. Keep everything else the same so it’s not as big an adjustment. Maybe let her pick linen to get her involved.
