I just kept offering it, along with saying things like “you’re growing up now” to encourage him. I can’t remember having any real problem with it.

we had a soft sippy cup first (a non spill one) and once she got used to that moved to a hard one

Keep trying, if he’s thirsty he will take the Sippy cup and will start to like it

Keep trying with the sippy and straw cups.

Have you tried a cup? My son wouldn’t take milk out of a sippy cup, but he would drink it from a cup, obviously with me holding it and tipping it for him as he was too young to do it himself.

I’d try a soft spouted drink bottle, he might prefer it as its more like a bottle than the strawed cups.

tell him he a big boy and throw away the bottles

I agree with traci .. Give him no choice

give him no choice & things may soon change.

Get the ones with the soft teat

Persistence is definitely the key… It pretty much comes with the territory for us Mums doesn’t it
