  • We got a Vuly. It’s great and also comes with an overhead cover which is fantastic in summer for sun protection

  • I brought a 12ft jump pod from target, looks good quality, after a year or so the mat don’t feel as bouncy. still heaps of fun for the littlies though and safe

  • I bought a mini trampoline from big w $98. It’s the smallest one I’ve seen with the net/zip enclosure (we have a very small yard) and suitable from age 2. They all meet the Australian standards but a friend said make sure you zip it up or they might fly out! Springfree are probably the best/biggest brand

  • we brought a jump pod from target and its very safe and good quality for the price

  • yeah all trampolines are designed with safety in mind these days. it’s really more price and design that you would consider now.

  • Most trampolines seem to come with nets and safety barriers. Always supervise young children on trampolines. Have fun choosing a trampoline; they are lots of fun for kids and great for exercise.

  • I personally like the Vuly, I’m sure you can get others just as good that are less expensive but I prefer the Vuly.

  • I believe that as long as they’re properly supervised and are able to understand what is safe practice when jumping on the trampoline then you don’t necessarily need an expensive one, although the spring free ones, whilst expensive, last forever!

  • We love our trampoline that has the high netting all around – although my son was 9 when we got it still ‘a boy’ very energetic and I knew he was safe!

  • the ones at kmart do the job :) mine has a net and is safe and strong and my two year has been using since the age of one :)

  • We have the toys r us brand and had no problems with it

  • I think any trampoline that has the sides is safe for a 3 year old. I do not believe you have to spend your bank balance to get the same effect as they will get on the cheaper option.

  • Spring free one, having the net around the whole trampoline (circle in shape) are great. Even just a small trampoline with a handle, I believe they can be bought from shops that have gym/work out stuff.

  • Spring free is the only truly reliable and safe trampoline to get in my opinion. Yes it is expensive but it will last and you won’t worry.

  • I got one for my 3 kids. its so long ago that i cant tell you the brand. It was actually shorter in height then most of the others and had pads over the springs. We never had a single accident and so many kids from all over the neighborhood used the Tramp.

  • I would go a round one with padding on the springs and netting all around it.safer is better.

  • Just get one from Kmart with a net.

  • It depends on your yard and the activity level. I got a 10ft trampoline with all the padding etc and my daughter loves it, she got it at 3

  • For a 3 year old none – I wouldn’t get on one of those things myself.

  • most trampolines are strictly labelelled with 6 years and up – due to this and the risks involved in a trampoline I would sugget 3 is too young to get your child a full size trampoline. you can get some junior trampolines where they hold onto a bar and jump on a little mat.
