We had attic bedroom as kids and had sliding doors at the ridge for storage, which you could also do with curtains. We had it decorated with fishing nets, which was pretty cool.

Personally, I think a paint job really brightens a room and brings it to life, so that’s a good start. Little decorative nick nacks can be picked up here there and everywhere, just keep your eyes open when you’re out

Op shopping, garage sales, hardware stores often have big sales of end of stock products. Check out hard garbage drop offs, they are brilliant for bargains. Tip shops are great too

Hi by the sounds of it it is a small space so I would start by painting it white,if it is a child’s room I would try and get one of those single beds with the draws underneath for some storage, check out gumtree and also there are a lot of selling sites on Facebook find one in your local area, or go around to local salvos and places , tAking your room measurements with you and Also Howard’s storage have an awesome range(some expensive though) I bought tubs from Kmart for my children’s toys which gut on a bookshelf,have a look on Pinterest for attic ideas so mAny possibilities
