I haven’t done typing from home. I would say they will only give you as much work as you are prepared to do. If you want part time I’m sure they will accommodate

I’ve looked into this as I thought it would be perfect for me. However I found it can be challenging to attract regular work, and the deadlines are quite strict, so if you have a sick little one, or anything unexpected happens, you may lose the job. Good luck!

I tried this when my first born was only young.
Lasted about 2 weeks & found that it was too difficult to allocate the time that was required in the home environment. There was always something needed doing & I would put it first.
Was much better leaving the house & having the little one minded as I could focus on work.
Different solutions for everyone though…

4-5 hours dedicated time a day sounds like a lot of work for supplementary income. People have posted some very positive comments though! I will follow this with interest!

Many years ago when mine were babies I typed resumes from home. This took about 5 hours out of my day but was perfect to do when kids had a nap or an night, gave me a little income too. I would do it again

I had a friend who typed transcripts for University lecturers. Is might be a starting point? Worth noting it was an onerous job with tight deadlines, and not suitable when kids are in the house! Good luck
