Depends on the day for me – sometimes I wear underwear and other days I don’t. I have found the best underwear for active wear are Zyia’s banded underwear. Super comfortable with no seams. Happy to share the link for anyone that is interested.

I always wear underwear – isn’t it a bit gross not to? For the top I have a padded sports bra, so different to a normal bra. But I would never consider not wearing undies. Maybe you should look into different styles if you are worried about lines. I have never noticed any wearing mine, but I have noticed some really clingy ‘bubble butt’ styles out these days.

I generally do wear underwear but only seamless ones. Zyia Active has some great ones – both briefs and g’s.

I’m definitely an underwear under my active wear kind of girl. For me it just feels more hygienic and comfortable to be wearing undies when I exercise. That being said I do also hate the lines some create so I only wear my seam free invisible high cut undies when I am wearing active wear.

It’s not something I had ever given much consideration to as it’s not the sort of thing I wear when exercising but if I did I definitely would wear underwear. I think it’s the fabric that it’s made of and tight style that makes me think I would need to.

I wear undies that are seam free and don’t have thick waist bands. I prefer high waisted for wearing under active wear, as all my active wear is also high waisted. Its way too hot and humid where I am, so if I didn’t wear undies it would be a terrible sight sweat wise hahah

I wear yoga pants and wear underwear to avoid chaffing and stay drier.

Oh definitely Yes to the underwear there are plenty of underwear out there that are seamless maybe a little more expensive then the usual ones but if it gives you comfort and reassurance its worth paying that little bit extra. So many people wear active wear these days me personally have never worn it.

I don’t even own any activewear 🤭 I think if I came out wearing some my whole family would roll around laughing because I’m so incredibly inactive 😂 BUT that being said I would definitely wear underwear underneath. I guess it depends on the material the activewear are made from but I think I would still wear them

I wear underwear under my active wear – it’s more comfortable and more hygenic. And to be honest, the last thing I worry about when working out is lines. I don’t think I’m at my most attractive when I’m working out, so I just don’t worry about what I look like.

Yes i wear underwear under my active wear, i don’t think i could go without it. If it worry you, you could invest in some seamless underwear as it is less likely to show the seam lines. I personally don’t think it matters but it is a personal choice and everyone is different.

Along with my other comments below about seam free underwear; another reason for wearing underwear is indeed to avoid any possible chafing or other related issues. There is also a reassurance about wearing underwear and making sure hygiene is taken care of during all forms of vigorous exercise in a gym.

Definitely wear underwear especially if you sweat alot nothing worse then having a sweat patch down there, .plus it isn’t very hygenic especially if your gymwear isn’t cotton as you could end up with thrush. I wouldn’t worry about seeing your knicker lines as your there to workout not worry about other people looking at you .

The rubbing without undies is very unpleasant indeed and personally I think no undies is also rather unhygienic. I agree with the previous posters that there is now a days so much invisible super comfortable and seam free active underwear on the market that it should not be a problem at all

Underwear is an absolute must for me when wearing active wear for many reasons. Maybe take a good look at various options. There is no doubt a huge range of underwear to go with active wear. I managed to get some underwear that is seam free and inexpensive too. It is all about finding what is comfortable for the individual.

Yep. You can definitely purchase seam free undies that dont show lines! There are so many more options and varieties now that can work great under active wear or even under garments where you dont want to show lines! It wouldnt be fun at all with the chafing and the hygiene around not wearing one
