“What are the best remedies for urinary tract infections? My little girl seems to have a reoccurring one and she is 5. I fell like I am always at the doctors, what can I do to help her?”

  • Daily drinks of cranberry juice. Might take a whole for her to get used to the taste, it’s a tad tart, but she won’t have uti problems again

  • I have heaps of urine infections as a young child… but it wasn’t just urine infections, it was also kidney infections at the same time! This all stopped once my periods came along (age 9)..

    So my daughter does get infections, I have ensured she knows how to wipe, have showers and only use certain soaps, and she drinks cranberry juice & water everyday. She has never had an infection..

    You can purchase Ural from your local chemist as well.. It is over the counter, for when she gets an infection.

    Wiping using correct technique after going to the toilet.

  • take her to the doctor she needs medication to get rid of it, once its gone make sure she washes her hands regularly and changes underwear every day
