Hello!

My Hubby and I are coming up to our 10 year wedding anniversary next year. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go that is kid friendly? We have three kids 6, 5 and 2. I would so love to take the kids somewhere nice to celebrate.

  • That’s lovely , We have been to Japan twice, so clean , lovely people and great food . Happy Anniversary !

  • maybe singa pore? its clean and has a cool zoo!

  • All my friends are going/have been to Fiji – seems the place to go

  • Thailand or Bali is nice =)

  • We are going to Fiji in November. They are really kid friendly there, most hotels have a kid club free and otherwise they have nanny services which are only like $12 an hour :)

  • Shangri-La Fiji is great for kids and such good value. The kids club is from 4 years however you can get a nanny who will take under 4’s to the kids club and when we were there is was FJD7 per hour, crazy prices!! We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

  • A cruise is such great value with a family, all inclusive which is great given the cost of food on holidays!

  • Congratulations on your 10 year anniversary. I recommend Fiji. Everyone is super friendly over there and it feels safe. All inclusive packages at a resort are also a great idea as then you know how much you are going to spend.

  • Fiji is honestly the most kid friendly place you can go to on a family vacation!

  • check out trip advisor for top 10 kids resorts or top 10 places to take your kids. Here there is lots of honest feed back on resorts, countries, hotels, restaurants etc.

  • My son & his wife went to a Fiji resort with their 2 kiddies (3 & 1) & felt so relaxed with the staff at their beck & call. Even on the flight over the hostess carried the 1 year old around the plane.

  • We took our two eldest to NZ when they were 7 and 8 and they loved it. They are about to go again next week with their Dad (now 14 and 15)

  • It depends on what you want from your holiday but we had a great family holiday on a cruise in the Pacific Islands.

  • This depends on your budget but somewhere like Hawaii, Florida or California for all the theme parks and fun kid parks would be great for any family. Your kids get to enjoy the theme parks and you can still do romantic things with your partner if you can hire a baby sitter.

  • Cant go past all inclusive at the Naviti Resort. Great place people are friendly, kids club is great, kids love the all day ice cream and there’s plenty to do t and around the resort

  • If you want to go a bit further they have heaps of all-inclusive resorts in and around the US and Mexico. We went to Cancun and they’ve got tons of activities for kids, good food and fun, and when they say all-inclusive they mean all.

  • Depending on how far you want to travel Bali, Fiji and Thailand are great for kids and relatively cheap. You can rent a Vila in Bali that has its own pool too. America is pretty good also, I’d go to Hawaii if that what you are after. It also depends on what type of holiday you are after. Beach, adventure, theme park etc.

  • Just went to Disney in LA, great place, that was our first year wedding anniversary, my 9 year old daughter and 1 year old really enjoyed it. There wasn’t really anywhere that looks after them for alone time though. If you want something less commercial and a little more intimate we also went to Hawaii, there are great resorts that have kids clubs that give you some alone time. The sights are beautiful.

  • We went to Fiji when our daughter was 8 years old and she loved it. We went to this quiet resort. http://www.hideawayfiji.com/
The food was included, with great choices all day long. A lot of activities for the kids, including kids club during the day and movies in the evening. You could enjoy the swimming pool and the beach, lovely both with high and low tides. You could get massages or go to the spa, go for walks around, there were food demonstrations during the day. People friendly. It was a very relaxing holiday.
